Listed as one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon is one of the most amazing sights to see in the world. For thousands of years, the Colorado River has cut through the canyon, leaving places that take your breath away. In 1908, President Theodore Roosevelt declared the Grand Canyon as a national monument, and in 1919 it was declared a national park.
Since it’s geysers, hot springs and mud pots on its roaming bison, grizzly bears, wolves and elk, Yellowstone Park is one not to be missed when in America. Covering areas of Wyoming, Idaho and Montana, the size of the park is Rhode Island and Delaware combined and is the vast wilderness just waiting to be explored. President Ulysses S. Grant. named Yellowstone as America’s first National Park in 1872.
