Jupiter is a huge gaseous and largest planet in the solar system and it is about 89,000 miles wide at the equator. This is the true “King of Planets” and is so great that all the other planets in our Sun’s family can fit inside of it.
In fact, more than 1,000 Earths could fit inside of Jupiter. Jupiter is a huge Great Red Spot. According to many scientists, it’s the most prominent feature, as it swirled around wildly in the surface layer of the bands of Jupiter’s atmosphere. In May 2014, astronomers announced that Jupiter is the famous trade mark of the Great Red Spot which rotates counter-cyclonic storm larger than our planet which can withered and shrunk to the smallest size ever measured.
Jupiter is like a star in composition. If Jupiter was approximately 80 times greater than what it is now, it would have ignited a fiery star instead of becoming a huge, gaseous planet that it certainly is!
