Cathay Pacific Airways on November 1 marked another milestone for the airline as it unveiled a new livery that will be gradually introduced on all aircraft in the fleet. Stables was presented a Boeing 777-300vER aircraft of the airline at a special event held at the international airport in Hong Kong.
Addressing the guests, Cathay Pacific Chief Executive Officer Ivan Chu said: “Today represents the beginning of a new era for Cathay Pacific. We are very happy and proud to reveal our new livery aircraft represents our journey into the future and also celebrated many great things we have achieved over the last seven decades as the home carrier of Hong Kong. ”
Mr. Chu said the new livery is a continuation of work that began last year to refresh your brand identity Cathay Pacific is. “Stables is a very important part of our brand image – a symbol of the company’s values show our best -Important physical assets. Stables represents Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong come from, and every time our aircraft take off or land in our network of destinations around the world, “he said.
“Create a new livery is much more than a cosmetic exercise. This new look is the latest – and most significant – development in our ongoing efforts to improve the overall customer experience in Cathay Pacific. It is also very clear representation of the huge investments we do in new aircraft and products as part of our policy of building the position of Hong Kong as an international aviation hub. ”
Guest of honor at the event was Professor Anthony Cheung, Secretary for Transport and Housing, who performed the ceremony of unveiling livery with Ivan Chu. More than 300 guests were in attendance at the event, held in a hangar at Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO), including aviation and trade officials, members of the loyalty program Marco Polo Club, guests from the public of Hong Kong and Cathay Pacific staff. In addition to seeing the new livery revealed all the guests enjoyed a unique behind-the-scenes experience where they can explore the aircraft inside and out and chat with operations teams airline.
In recent years, Cathay Pacific has made huge investments in new aircraft and new products, to provide real pleasure for its customers. The airline has also worked hard to build the position of Hong Kong as one of the world’s greatest aviation hubs, growing its network and building connectivity to oil the wheels of trade, tourism and trade.
